Overview
Six hundred years in the future, humans have discovered a mysterious inter-dimensional phenomenon called the Nex (short for the Nexus). Sapient robots (known as Linked machines), formatively influenced by humanity, have gained consciousness and share the world with their creators, bonded through a mutual connection to this unexplainable reality bridge. Despite all these advances, all sapient beings of the known universe face threats both within and without. A cold war between Earth and the Han Cluster endures even while a mysterious otherworldly menace called The Blinding threatens to wipe out all intelligent life.
The Books
In the Han Cluster, a vast and remarkable future world awaits your exploration. In your quest to stop the Blinding, you’ll explore diverse planets, investigate the secrets of human space, hunt pirates, help good people who are in trouble, create community connections, and explore remarkable gifts of transhumanism thanks to the mysterious Nex.
Each book is a beautiful 208-page, full-color, offset printed hardback with section-sewn binding, professionally printed in China.

The Heroes
In the Han Cluster, you can make any kind of hero you like: Nex technician, engineer, pilot, repair bot, ex soldier, courtesan, aristocrat, or even a wildcatter from the poisonous world of Venin. Of course there’s always the Nex manipulators too: Nex Divers and Draxel Tappers (new Arcane Backgrounds for folks who have developed amazing powers). Complete character creation rules, along with the rules for creating Linked Machines (the Han Cluster’s sapient robots) are all included in the book. For a quicker start, though, we’ve created a several archetypes that allow you to get playing as soon as possible!

Campaign Aids
We’ve also included a deck of 22 Campaign Cards, which include several allies your crew can meet during the Transcendence Plot Point Campaign (all playable and fully built according to the character creation rules), a set of Shift Intensity Cards to help track the progress of the insidious Blinding that is threatening all of human space, and a set of three campaign asset cards.

The Maps
We have two full size, 24″x30″ fold-out full color maps on heavy gloss cardstock.

- Map Pack #2 includes the Han Cluster Area Map (for getting around) and the Shok Barge battlemap (from the campaign.
Digital Extras
We’ve also created a whole bunch of digital only cards and aids for GMs and players to make their explorations in the Han Cluster more enjoyable. Included among them are Adversary cards, Vehicle cards (including starships and land vehicles), Han Cluster Edge cards, Power cards, Ghosted and Capped status cards, and figure flats.
